We source items from customers within the UK who share our love for slow fashion and a sustainable future. We have an Instagram and Facebook presence and regularly post on these platforms.  We accept items that are in good condition so you know you will be purchasing a well loved and cared for item.

We want to be 100% confident that the items we sell are 100% authentic!  When items arrive with Love A Preloved, our team carefully inspect the items and where necessary, use an authentication service called Entrupy, a state of the art authentication service for luxury handbags. Find out more here

We will securely package your items and ship within the UK only (for now) via our courier service or Royal Mail Special next day delivery.

When purchasing from our website, at checkout, you will be able to select a postal service.

Love A Preloved is a consignment store where all items are throughly checked and authenticated to ensure what you are buying is authentic and in the condition stated by the seller.

We ask before any purchase, that you read the product description, the conditions guide and view all photos. If you have any questions before purchasing or would like extra photos or a video, please get in touch. We would be happy to help!

Handbags, Jewellery and Accessories As these belong to the seller, we do not offer a return or exchange policy on these items. However, if an item should be proven not to be authentic, we will issue a full refund.

If the clothing you have ordered doesn’t fit, you can return it for a store credit. Please do let us know within 48 hours of receiving if you would like to return. You will need to cover the cost to return it to us and send it back within 7 days of receiving the item. It must be unused and in the condition you received it in. The security tag must not be removed for returns.

We only accept authentic items in very good condition. If found to not be authentic, it is up to the seller to cover the return cost.

Our fee for each item we sell up to the value of £2,500 is 35%.

Any item with a sale price over £2,500, our fee will reduce to 25% per item.

Your payment will be made via bank transfer within 72 hours of the funds clearing our bank account.

Your items are in safe hands. We have secure premises and are fully insured.

We ask that we keep your luxury items for 16 weeks to give us a full opportunity to market and sell the items.

For clothing, we ask to keep the items for up to 12 months, to cover season changes. If your clothing hasn’t sold by then we can send it back to you or donate to a charity.

We will do our best to advertise your items to the right audience, across our social media platforms. If we, unfortunately, are unable to sell your item within the time period specified, we will discuss the next steps with you.
